Deputy Contest

As activity has picked up on TFC once again, The Admins have elected to hold a Deputy Contest. You can enter up to Two characters regardless of their age and rank and clan, for the remaining two positions. You can chose to aim high in the mountains for Sunclan or low in the water for Riverclan. Should you be the lucky one selected for one of these positions, your character chosen will have been picked over by all the Admin and you will find them shifted into the appropriate clan where you will need to adjust their bio to show them in that clan as a warrior and their history changed so they have been in that clan. This is not going to be any easy contest to win in as you will need to show your RPing skills off in a short post as to how they changed clans if applicable and how they are going to be a good deputy. In addition to this you will need to tell us how you will be a good addition to us and the site as a moderator along with all your brilliant ideas for events and plots on the site. Dont forget to think ever so hard on who you want to pick and what clan because you could end up glossed over should you not chose someone who will create a good balance with your leader.

Deputy Expectations

Becoming a deputy of a clan is not just getting a new title. You become the second in command of the clan, and as such, there are responsibilities that you must take on. When the clan leader is inactive due to life, or they are in another part of the territory, the deputy may stand in until they return. This is so that the roleplay doesn’t grind to a halt.
If you get chosen for deputy, you become part of the moderator team. You will go through a mandatory mod training session with the admins before you take up these duties.
To qualify for deputy, you must:
- Be active – at least a post per day over all of your characters on site
- Be mature – we are a semi-realistic roleplay site, and conduct ourselves as such
- Have or be willing to make a Skype account – this is to be trained and to keep up to date with all updates

Additionally, these are the expectations we have of our moderator team:
- Do not brag about your title, use it to your advantage, or abuse your power in the chatbox.
- We ask that you remain a step back in arguments and look at both sides of the story before making a final decision – remember that text based conversation does have a tendency to be taken the wrong way, so err on the side of caution, and if you’re unsure you understood something correctly, ask for clarification.
- All reports made by users are to be treated as anonymous. This is to protect the reporter from any possible backlash by the reported.
- Any frustration that you feel towards the users, feel free to express it in our Skype chat. However do not direct this towards the user themselves.
- If you see a fellow mod or admin breaking the rules, report them to an admin. Do not deal with them yourselves.
