Welcome, Stormpaw, to your training topic! It is here that you'll learn the skills necessary to become a warrior of SunClan. You will need to get at least 30/60 in three skills to be promoted. Stoatblaze is a kind and easygoing wolf, and he will be quite patient when it comes to training. Please let me know if there are any skills you'd like to focus on in particular.

It was time to begin Stormpaw's training. Stoatblaze had settled on the Sun Clearing, as he thought it would make the best place to train. There was ample room for fighting practice and plenty of prey to be found. They might even run across a badger or fox, which would provide an opportunity for chasing off predators. Yes, this was definitely the ideal location for training in. The senior warrior let out a yawn as he waited for Stormpaw to arrive. He'd decided to let her choose what they'd work on first, unless of course she wasn't certain. Stoatblaze hoped that he'd be able to teach her what she wanted to learn. Despite the fact that he was a senior warrior, he'd only mentored one apprentice before, Dragonheart. Dragonheart had been an excellent warrior, however, so hopefully that meant he was a good mentor.

She'd been asked to meet her mentor in the Sun clearing just after sun high, and so naturally was on time, she was more than ready to train and become a good warrior and hunter. There was a thrill in pretending to hunt leaves and the like back at camp so she was more than keen to learn how to hunt, her bright yellow eyes glittered with excitement. Being a pup had been so boring, even as a pup she'd wanted to fight to hunt to provide for her clan, although she had doubts about Riverstar being the kind of leader she wanted to follow. He was rather soft and seemingly absent, she wanted a powerful strong leader who obviously was the best wolf in the clan, after all the clan relied on the strong to hunt and fight to survive. The storm grey female padded into the sun clearing and glanced about, soon picking up the tan and white warriors who was to be her mentor and walked over to him dipping her head respectfully enough. "Greetings Stoatblaze, I'm ready to learn" hopefully he'd teach her hunting first, that was the best one to start with obviously as by learning to hunt you learnt basic fighting skills as well.

The tan-and-white wolf lifted his head when he heard Stormpaw approaching. He dipped his head to her in turn. "Hello, Stormpaw," he said. He was glad that Stormpaw had arrived on time; to him, that meant that she regarded training as important. "How about you choose what we work on first?" he asked. Stoatblaze was better skilled when it came to fighting, but he was a decent hunter as well and thus would be fine starting with whichever of the skills Stormpaw would prefer.
