| First topic message reminder :A camp surrounded by interwoven brambles and thorns. The WindClan wolves sleep underneath the stars and have no need for dens, except for that of the leader and for the queens. The leader's den is a small, dead-end cave while the nursery is a large hole, buried deep in the ground. | |

| Silentpup paced about the den, his ears flat against his head. With a small whine, he laid down and attempted to sleep. However, it never came easily to him, even with silence. Now, with the wind, sleeping would be impossible. Its howling was maddening, to say the least. Flattening his ears against his head, the small pup inhaled somewhat, getting to his paws and looking towards the entrance to the nursery. With a growl, Silentpup moved closer to it, sticking his head outside before leaving the den. Swiftly, he was knocked to the ground with a yelp. 'How am I supposed to get around?' he thought, crouching low to the ground and shaking the dirt off his pelt. He then began to crawl his way to an adult. Glancing around, he spotted Lilacsplash, before approaching her. "H-Hey!" he yipped, remaining low to the ground. "What's going on?! Where'd the sun go?! Why is it so windy?! I can barely hear myself think! It's making my head hurt and I can't sleep!" His ears were already sensitive enough- with the howling of the wind, it was torturous. He wanted to claw his own ears out. "How much longer is it gonna be like this for?!" Silentpup then asked, looking up at the pregnant female, trying to keep on his paws. 'How ironic that the wind causing problems for WindClan...' he bitterly thought.

| Kaispirit noticed the slight look that Heavypaw's dad sent there way and slightly backed off, he didnt want the male to think that he was trying to be his dad. He had enough to worry about as it was with Lilacsplash being pregnant he was so happy. He was going to be a dad. Though she hasnt been talking about it much he wondered if she was happy about it. Kaispirit laid down and started to help groom Lilacsplash. He saw the way she was with Heavypaw and he knew that she would be a great mom. "how are you Lilacsplash?" |

C Y P R E S S " Follow me into the endless night " Cy waited with his narrowed eyes pinned on Wrenclaw as he asked his sister for permission for their patrol. Larkstar was in a state of worry, as she should be, and he watched as her expression changed to worry as she spoke to him. The senior warrior blinked in surprise as his son touched noses with him and bid farewell. He watched the apprentice head out of camp at a rather hasty pace. Where was he going at a time like this? No matter, he had a patrol to lead, Heavypaw would have to wait until he returns. But he certainly would have a lot of explaining to do. Wrenclaw returned to Cypressrunner and Embershard after calling for Silverfern. Good idea, she'd be of use," the warrior thought to himself with a short nod of approval. Wrenclaw told him they were good to go and he promptly rose to his paws, raising his tail in a stance of dominance. "Then we should go. This is an important patrol and we don't want to waste any time."Cypress turned around and headed off for the SunClan border, keeping his pace balanced and steady until he knew the others were right behind him. | Lilacsplash had watched Heavypaw leave camp again, somewhat worried about the apprentice but telling herself he'd be alright, her blue gaze flicked to Silentpup as he spoke she got up and moved closer to him to shelter him from the gale that was rushing over the camp . “I don't know Silentpup, but its alright, Larkstar has this all under control. Just stick with me and I'll kept you sheltered from the wind alright?” She didn't know how much longer it would be, so instead she lay down carefully and ran her tongue over the pup gently wanting to keep the pup as comforted and protected as possible. In the middle of it Kaispirit showed up and began grooming her with no words to Silentpup, she felt somewhat uncomfortable, it'd clicked in her head that she was expecting and she had a fair idea that Kaispirit wasn't their father. There'd been a wolf before she'd even met Kai, but it hadn't worked out in the end, she had no idea how to tell Kaispirit he probably wasn't the father of he pups that were growing in her belly. She was fairly sure she loved the male who was grooming her and completely ignoring the pup that was beside her, the ignorance of the pup making her wonder if he'd be as good a father as she'd thought he'd been. Either way the pups in her stomach needed a father, and he was the only one availble in the clan who'd act like they were his, so she kept the truth to herself the guilt making her feel rather queasy. Remembering that the wolf had asked her a question she shrugged then responded “I'm okay I guess, I want the wind to die down and the sun to come back, but apart from that alright” she managed a weak smile still focusing most of her attention on the pup instead of the male grooming her.

| Silentpup sighed, nuzzled against her before shaking his head. Despite her comforting words, he was still quite irritated by the wind. Clearing his throat, he flattened his ears, barking over the wind, "I'm gonna try to find a quieter spot in camp!" With that, he began to crawl away, pushing through the wind, determined to find a spot. As he moved, he heard a murmur in the wind. "Follow the breeze..." it whispered. Perking his ears, the young pup lifted his head somewhat. "H-Hello...?" he whimpered, eyes widening in slight fear. "There's someone waiting for you... Follow the wind... They know a place where there's no wind, not even the slightest gust...!" Silentpup glanced around nervously- he knew he wasn't supposed to leave camp. Crawling a bit further out of sight, he laid close to the ground. "Trust me, young pup. The wind will take you to safety..." the voice whispered, barely audible over the howling wind. It came and went like it's own slight breeze. The male looked at his paws, furrowing his brows. Was this StarClan? Were they speaking to him? If so, he knew he had to trust them. "O...Okay..." he whimpered, checking to make sure nobody would see him leave. Hurriedly but carefully, he walked along with the wind, as if it was pushing him further and further away from his home, threatening to send him face-forward into the ground. "Don't worry, young pup. Your clanmates will be with you eventually..." the mysterious voice purred. It was so silky... Hypnotic, almost. It sent shivers down Silentpup's spine. Slowly, he began to feel at ease as he made his way towards the unknown, the wind guiding him away from true safety. Jagged Cliffs | |

| She got up onto her paws when Wrenclaw returned, flickign a glance over at Silverfern she supposed they just had to trust that she would be loyal to windclan. The wind seemed almost to be getting stronger, voices whispering it seeping into her ears, blinking and glancing about as one voice became more and more familiar she briefly believed her sister was there whispering in her ear. Shaking herself out vigorously, Embershard turned and followed Cypressrunner, out on the open prairie the wind became all the more fierce ripping and pulling at her fur as if it was trying to bowl her over. Fighting it she nearly face planted when she heard Obsidianshards voice whispering in her ears again, flattening them and tying to block the words out she told herself her sister was dead. She was fine, she wasn't on her own she had her clan she'd be okay.. ~Sunclan and Windclan Border~ | |

| Listening to Lilysong, Silverfern had opened her mouth "The oldest wolves in Sunclan are the senior warriors Stoatblaze and Willowmist, I doubt they would have much clue although perhaps your elder does? She's a bit of a dag your Honeybadger but appears to have most of her marbles rolling around her tin can aye" she was about to say something more when Wrenclaw asked for her to come on the sunclan patrol with them. Nodding calmly enough Silverfern gave Lilysong a smile "Cheerio Lilysong" standing on her silver paws the black and silver wolf stretched a brief moment appearing not too bothered by the wind. Of course she was laid back by nature so it would take something far larger than what was going on to bother her, realizing the patrol was now leaving she trotted out of camp after them a little eager to return to the border. Perhaps they'd meet one of her old clan mates and they could tell her how everyone was faring or they might not considering she had betayed them in some of their eyes. ~Windclan and Sunclan Border~ | |

| Flattening his ears against his skull, Wrenclaw followed after the other male along with Embershard and Silverfern. The wind was becoming unbearable, even more so once they left the shelter of the camp. "Was this a good idea? I can't even hear myself think out here!" Still, he was determined to do the best for his clan, and if trotting out into a windstorm was what needed to be done, then he was willing to do it. "Well, maybe not so much for the clan. But for Lark I guess." Wrenclaw wasn't exactly the most loyal throw yourself under a bus for his clan kind of wolf, but he did have some allegiance to it. Trotting after the others, he entered the moor. The gale picked up and the male stifled a growl in irritation at the fowl weather. Still, despite his outward expressions, Wren silently worried about how Weedfang was doing. He hadn't seen her in almost two moons and did not know how Sunclan was faring, especially after the sun's disappearance. Even if he couldn't be with her, he hoped she was alright. ~SC/WC Border~ | |

C Y P R E S S " Follow me into the endless night " Cypressrunner nodded curtly as his patrol got off their rears and started moving. It was a short trek for a WindClan wolf, but this overwhelming wind would make it quite difficult. They may not be able to hear, but they can still see and smell. He just hoped his warriors would be able to rely on those senses while they're out. It was still dark out, as if it were nighttime, but Cy's body told him it was still day. His eyes had adjusted to the shadows by now, so his concern quickly ebbed out of his mind as he took off behind the patrol. -Border" I can bring your fears to life "

| Grumbling at the loud bellowing, the old grey wolf sent a glare towards the younger one. “I'm old, not deaf,” he grumbled irritably, pawing through what herbs he had for injured eyes. Starclan knew he was going to need them with all the young pups that had apparently sprouted out of the woodworks. “There's enough noise with the wind without you joining into it.” Still, it would be helpful if he could get someone else collecting herbs while he checked the youngsters in camp. Nosing out a few yellow flowers, he showed them to the young warrior. “If you find any of these on your wanderings, pick some. Make sure to leave enough of the plant to let it keep growing.” Short and blunt as always, the crotchety medicine wolf, tucked the herb back away and continued going through his stores. At least in his den there was less wind howling around his ears. | |

| The she-wolf watched as the patrol left, wishing them a safe journey to the border and back. The other clans' wellbeing was a concern of hers, and she wondered how they were faring with all of the strange weather about. "How is Thunderclan doing? They are our allies after all." Rosestar could also have a better idea of what was happening, and Lark wouldn't mind checking up on their safety as well. But traveling across the moor in weather like this didn't sound like a brilliant idea, and Larkstar frowned as she thought about the possibility of her clanmates being lost or going crazy in the wind as they traveled across the prairie to Thunderclan. Sighing, Larkstar looked out in the camp, scanning to check that every wolf was there. She didn't see Silentpup, but not having seen him left, she figured that he was safe in the nursery. But there was another wolf that she didn't see, and one she knew hadn't been sent out on a patrol. "Where's Heavypaw?" Her amber eyes narrowed as she whipped her head around, but she did not spot him anywhere in the camp. "Did he leave? There can't be any warriors with him, as they're all here or out on patrol." Annoyance flashed on the she-wolf's face and she clicked her teeth in irritation. "I specifically told him to stay in camp! Why on earth would he leave?!" Larkstar was aggravated with her apprentice, especially after he clearly disobeyed her orders. It was dangerous to go alone out there, and she worried about his safety.

| It'd taken quite a long while to walk back with the pup, in the end she'd picked him up for a bit of the way feeling sorry for his tiny wee legs having to keep up with her long ones. Gently setting him down when they were getting close to the clan entance she spoke to him “Now, there are lots of wolves in there, so you stick close to me alright Avalanche? Once we've talked to our leader, Larkstar i'll introduce you to someone who'll adore you” a slight smile flicked back onto her maw as she thought about how Lilacsplash would react to the pup, she'd fall in love with him and want to mother him like no tomorrow which might be good for the pup he looked like he needed a cuddle and some loving. When Wrenclaw had caught up, she lead the pup into the camp, padding over to Larkstar she dipped her head politely, “Greetings Larkstar, the report on the sunclan border patrol is that they've got several feet of snow, Cypressrunner and Silverfern went ahead to the Riverclan border. While at the Sunclan border we found this young pup called Avalanche, he's shown interest in joining Windclan” she had decided to keep Wrenclaws hallucination of Weedfang to herself, it wouldn't aid the males reputation any for everyone to know what had gone on. Looking down at Avalanche for a brief moment she glanced around the camp and smiled seeing Lilacsplash, she'd take the pup to the silver she wolf after they'd talked with Larkstar. Frowning a moment as she picked up worry on the young leaders face, a little unsure she half wondered if something else had happened. What a day this was turning out to be, shifting her paws a little, the warrior awaited her leaders reply, wondering what she'd say. | |

| Lilysong found herself unsurprisingly disappointed when Silverfern could do little more than echo her own speculations, much as she should have expected. Stories told by elder wolves were like proverbial gold in the eyes of the young and impressionable members of the Clan. Hyperboles had often been woven in at every opportunity over time, but once you peeled away that unnecessary layers of exaggerated detail, the stories were often a gold mine of forgotten information. Most myths and legends tended to have foundations of truth. Lilysong agreed with Silverfern's suggestion that Honeybadger may have a more extensive idea as to what was going on, her amusement at Silverfern's description of the older female wolf etching a soft smile onto her face. The old 'dag ' hadn't made a scene in a little while which hinted at the possibility that she had fallen asleep somewhere or had found something else to busy herself with, and Lilysong had no desire to poke the hornets' nest. She trusted that Honeybadger would shed the common exaggerations in her stories and get straight to the point, but the elder would have offered any valuable information by now if she had any. She returned Silverfern's farewell and watched wistfully as the warriors trickled out of camp to complete their patrol. The vice of fear had begun to slowly tighten around her heart as she watched her Clan mates disappear through the gapping hole of the entrance, surrendering themselves to the mercy of the elements. She wished with a heightening degree of desperation that she could somehow put a stop to all of this madness, that she could somehow relinquish the land from the iron fist of tragedy that the smothered sun had sent down on them. But alas, she was as helpless as ever to change anything. She understood that the best thing that she could offer her Clan was her loyalty, that was a certainty in Lilysong's mind, by as she basked in the chaos of the environment around her, she couldn't help but be reminded of her own, pitiful singularity in the grand scheme of things. Lilysong was rescued from letting her mind spiral any further when the sound and smell of approaching wolves signalled the return of some of the patrol. She watched as Embershard and Wrenclaw re-entered the camp clearing, and was struck with a bolt of confusion as a small white figure followed them in. Is that a puppy? She thought in bewilderment, restraining herself from approaching as she waited to see how Larkstar would react to this new arrival. She heard Embershard's report of snow on SunClan territory which raised alarm bells in Lilysong's mind (it seemed they weren't the only Clan experiencing trouble in coincidence with the shrinking sun) but Lilysong was much more absorbed with the new arrival to seriously contemplate any of that right now. The other Clans could be discussed later. This small bundle of snow white fur that had been placed before them was far more deserving of their attention at this precise moment in time. | |

| Avalanche slowly made his way into camp and settled close to Embershard for warmth, his breath froze in the air and he gasped as he could see his own breath hovering there for a few seconds too long. His brown eyes closed and he then opened again and now he started shivering in fear again upon seeing how many wolves were around them currently. "I-is-is this your pack, Embershard?" he asked her, his voice shivering as much as his body was. The pup could feel nothing but the cold air around him and it was starting to make him crazy, not crazy as the wolf talking to themselves was, but crazy enough to curl up under Embershard's tail. And so, the tiny thick-furred pup did, right in front of everyone as well. His ears twitched up as he heard Embershard introduce him to the crowd of wolves.
He wasn't sure it he was glad about that or not but one thing was for certain - he was hungry and cold. His tail was not wagging as it fell neatly across his rump and he stared out at the gathered faes and brutes from underneath Embershard's tail. He could feel their gaze hit his pelt and it sent a shock of nervousness down his spine. Fear-scent surrounded the pup once again like it had at the border and all he could do was watch and listen, scared to speak a word unless it was to Embershard.

| Seeing the small pup trotting into camp after embershard, Lilacsplash's eyes lit up, pulling away from Kaispirits grooming, the silver she wolf padded over to the pup when he hid himself under Embershards tail. Lying down carefully so she didn't appear to be towering over him Lilacsplash nudged him ever so gently her eyes glittering with how adorable the little boy was. “Hello there, its very nice to meet you” she murmured softly to the pup “Whas your name little one?” carefully moving the red wolfs tail off the darling little thing, the silver she wolf nuzzled him before swiping her tongue over his ear. Her blue eyes widening as she realized how cold the pup was “Embershard didn't make you walk did she?” that was the most ridiculous thing, a pup this young needed to be carried. She got to work warming him up by licking his thick fur backwards, once he was succesfully warm again she wrapped herself around him and snuggled into him. “You'll be safe here” she told the white marshmellow on four adorable little legs “My Names Lilacsplash and I'll take care of you” she'd raise him along her other pups if he'd allow her, her silky summer coat didn't do much to keep him warm but the body heat she produced was more than enough for the little man. She flicked Larkstar a look that told the female quite plainly that Lilac was going to be looking after the pup and hat he was officially part of the clan now and that the heavily pregnant female was going to throw a very large tantrum over this if someone tried to say he couldn't join the clan. | |

| Avalanche, half expecting the she-wolf to get bored with him hiding from her easily wasn't all that worried until the warmth of Embershard's tail was no longer over him. He shivered and then froze in shock as the silver she-wolf not only nuzzled him in a loving manner but licked his ears. He stared up at her, his big round blue eyes that will eventually turn brown once he was old enough stared right into her blue ones. He was unprepared as the fae's warm body surrounded him and warmed him up to no small degree. He had felt this familiar moment before when his mother would curl around him with his two sisters inside their two-legs nest. He grew teary-eyed and found himself hugging her, well, it seemed like a hug.
He found his tail wagging like crazy and he felt only the warmth of her fur and heard only the beating of her heart. Only that mattered to him now - somebody cared about him out here in this cold, freezing world. He licked her pelt back in thankfulness before he found himself growing drowsy. He yawned, showing off small puppy teeth still in his mouth, before curling up at her side and almost falling asleep. Just before he did so he managed to answer her tiresomely - "I'm Avalanche" before he went away to dreamland.

| Larkstar was surprised when Embershard padded back into camp so quickly, carrying a small puppy in her jaws. She knew right away it had to be a loner, since no clan scent permeated his fur, but she was shocked that such a small being could survive out in this weather. She nodded to Embershard's explanation, gazing at the pup with pity. "Poor thing, how did he end up out there?" Loners sometimes passed by the moor, but it was more rare of an occasion, and she definitely didn't expect any wolf to be out in this drastic weather. "Of course he can join us." She replied, glancing back up at Embershard. The queen Lilacsplash came over and nuzzled the pup, and Lark smiled. "If you don't mind, would you watch over him Lilacsplash?" She asked the fay, though the she-wolf could already predict her answer. The delicate queen was about as motherly and caring as one could get, and there was no doubt that she would take good care of the pup. Waiting for Lilacsplash to reply, Larkstar scanned the camp, realizing that her brother had not entered the camp with Ember. "Did Wrenclaw come with you?" She asked the other warrior, a bit of worry clouding her gaze. With all of the unpredictable weather about, she couldn't help but be concerned. | |

| Avalanche, soon to be named Avalanchepup, had only slept for a moment before he was woken up by Larkstar's voice and he found his stomach growling hungrily. He licked his lips and nosed into Lilacsplash's fur only to find she was making no milk yet her belly was full of new life. He whimpered sadly and lowered his ears. He was hungry and he wasn't quite used to eating meat yet being as tiny as he was. He didn't try to feed off her again but begged for food. "I'm hungry." he said, lowering his ears even more and closing his round blue eyes.
He was not cold anymore but his hunger had come back. He had been so focused on being warm again that he had forgotten about how long ago he had drank any milk. "Why do you not have milk? Does anyone here have milk to spare?" he asked, adorably.

| Thornfur often found his patience tested with the elders of the Clan. Both of Ashfrost and Honeybadger always seemed to have their knickers in a twist, but his great respect for all they had done for the Clan over the years kept his mouth clamped shut. Thornfur studied the yellow plants that Ashfrost indicated to intently, noting his caution about not removing the whole plant. "I can do that." Thornfur replied, this time a little more quietly than before as he took heed of Ashfrost's rebuttal. The dark furred male followed the medicine wolf's movements around the den with a slightly narrowed gaze as the elder turned his back on Thornfur in a silent dismissal. Rude as ever, but a good medicine wolf nonetheless. The patrol had assembled and departed by the time Thornfur re-emerged from the medicine den. His eyes fell on the pitiful display that the fresh kill pile had to offer and he felt a guilty twist deep in his chest. He shouldn't be stood here, idling about when the Clan's food supply was so low. He wondered if the eclipse and ferocious wind had forced the prey to take shelter underground, but Thornfur scolded himself for even entertaining such a thought. No matter if every rabbit in the land had barricaded itself into its burrow, he should be out there doing his bit to keep his Clan fed, not sitting here making excuses. He was in the process of looking for someone to hunt with whilst also going in search of the medicinal plant before the most bizarre scene met his eyes. Embershard and Wrenclaw had returned from their patrol, and they seemed to have acquired an additional member along the way. A small, fuzzy bundle of fur who looked no older than a few moons old. Lilacsplash, of course, snatched the pup up immediately, grooming the poor thing to within an inch of his life, but the pup didn't seem to mind in the slightest, curling up deep in the heavily pregnant female's fur and dropping soundly off to sleep. Avalanche, he thought he heard his name was. Despite Larkstar's superior rank, he could tell that the leader had no real authority in this situation. Lilacsplash had taken this pup under her wing and the rest of them were powerless to protest otherwise. It would seem that they had a new member in their ranks. That nursery will be over-flowing in a few days time, Thornfur considered internally, his eyes lingering on Lilacsplash's bulging belly before they drifted to the structure of the nursery. He'd been overwhelmingly correct about the nursery not remaining vacant for long, and he wasn't sure exactly how he felt about it. Ultimately it meant the continued survival and increased strength of the Clan , but the noise... a shiver travelled down the length of his spine at the mere thought. As if hearing his thoughts, the little snowball piped up from where he lay curled up against Lilacsplash. He wants milk? Arching his eyebrows he cast an uncertain but amused at Lilacsplash, unsure what to suggest. There were no other queens currently in the Clan, making finding what the pup wanted virtually impossible. He certainly didn't have anything to offer the little pup, and he seemed far too young to be eating chunks of meat yet. Just what we need, another problem. | |

| Miserable and forlorn, the male sauntered back into camp. The wind still raged on, but Wrenclaw couldn't care less about it's howling, all thought on his loss and self-pity. Never in his life had he ever felt so hurt before, not when the clans lost their home, not when his mentor had disappeared, not even when Lark had gone missing when they were pups. Of course when his sister had gone missing he still had hope and faith that she would return. But with Weedfang he was hopeless. Hopeless and alone. Without saying a word to anyone and ignoring the rest of the wolves there, Wren padded to the side of the camp and sat down. There was a darkness over his mind, a cloud obscuring his gaze. He was exhausted in his grief, and the weight in his chest only seemed to grow heavier. Still, the male pushed the anguish down, determined not to let anyone see his emotions. Being thick-skinned was usually not a problem for him, but today was different. Agony threatened to consume his soul, and he clenched his teeth as he felt tears seeping into his eyes. Blinking them away, Wrenclaw sighed and gazed into the ground. "No one needs to know. I just have to remain loyal like Weedfang said." Not used to confiding in anyone about his problem, the male felt no desire to do so now and instead laid down. Feeling as if the weight of the world were pulling on him, Wrenclaw sighed and closed his eyes. The escape from reality into the nothingness of sleep was a welcoming sensation, and part of him wished that he could just slip into unconsciousness and never wake up again. | |

| Season |
Leaf-Fall has finally started, with the nights gradually getting cooler. Perhaps snow is on the way, perhaps it will be late this year. Either way, the dark shadow that was over the clans seems to have finally lifted, leaving them in peace for now to stock up on rpey for the coming cold months.
This season's successful numbers are: 1, 3, and 8
