| The ShadowClan camp is situated in a grove of mangroves where the water has long since dried up, since before the Clans arrived. To make dens, the members have woven leaves and twigs through the top of the exposed roots. The camp gets fairly muddy in leafbare but is pleasantly cool and sheltered from the hot greenleaf sun. The leader's den is directly underneath one of the biggest mangroves, and when addressing the Clan the leader leaps up onto the 'roof' of their den. | |

| Nightstar padded around his camp checking the dens for damage as he always did once a week. His green eyes were sharp in the midsun rising as he moved with his fur rippling through the dappled sun. Staisfied with the lack of damage the cold leader lay down outside his den and just watched his clan silently. | |

| The burly powerful grey wolf with a large scar upon his chest returned to camp jaws filled with a fat pheasant he'd caught in the silver birch forest. His yellow-green eyes glittered with unspoken feelings as he stalked through the camp and deposited the prey on the fresh-kill pile. A new member to the clan Dragonsteel had shown he was a more than competent warrior and didn't care what any of the others thought or said about him. He considered himself a wolf of honor as well as an experienced veteran of the dog fighting ring which was where he had earnt his impressive chest scar. Noticing Nightstar laying about not do anything he snorted slightly, swiping his pink tongue over his muzzle his gaze darted towards the nursery. Cheshiregrins pups were likely getting to the stage where they would begin exploring the real worlds despite his outward appearance the brutish male had a special tolerance for pups. Stretching and ignoring his joints complaints the silver male picked a piece of prey off of the fresh kill pile and made his way over to the nursery, thrusting his head inside he studied the white female and her four pups gaze lingering on the red and black pup that gave him a bad feeling. Setting the rabbit down near Cheshiregrin he spoke in his gravelly tones "I know you are busy with your little ones, but you must remember to eat" nudging it closer to her he gave the pups a very slight smile before he left the nursery and padded through the dried up camp to lie down in a patch of warm sun and begin giving his pelt a thorough going over liking to stay clean despite the muddy place he now called home. | |

| Seeing Dragonsteel returning the leader rose to his paws and padded towards the grey brute as he lay in the sun. He would check in with Cheshiregrin at sunhigh as was his custom to do so to see the young pups she nursed and hear what she wished to say to him. He had been the only other in the camp before the return of the other warrior as the rest were still out hunting or on patrol. With so few remaining in Shadowclan since the split the effort it took to maintain the territory was tough enough that often only one warrior remained in camp unless it was near sunrise, sunset or sunhigh. "Good hunting Dragonsteel?" he asked standing by the grooming male. The leader was planning on heading out for a quick hunt out in the Silver Forest to try and get some more prey on the fresh kill pile before he would go with the sunhigh patrol over on the Thunderclan boarder. With his young age he didn't trust the other clans not to attempt to take or wonder into their territory and it let the cold leader slightly on edge as he pushed to ensure all the patrols where meet and they weren't invaded. He had only been leader for a moon roughly now and was settling into the role with relative ease but he had yet to make a big choice though he was already considering mentors for the pups nursing away with their mother. | |

| In the middle of his grooming he was interrupted by the young buck who'd been made leader by some make believe nonsense about dead wolves living in stars. Not exactly pleased to be interrupted he flicked his gaze at the brown wolf not intimidated by him in the slightest, and if he was honest he didn't give two mouse tails if he came across disrespectful. Youngsters had to earn his respect it wasn't given freely, in fact there was only one other he had any proper respect for the black wolf dog who'd gifted him his scar. "I brought fresh prey home" he agreed mid groom much more interested in cleaning his fine summer coat. He'd noticed Bramblerose leave with her usual pinched cold expression, and didn't really care that she'd headed off on her own it wasn't his place to care and he didn't. Things sure were easier in a pack and he wasn't sure if he liked it, he disliked having to pick prey off the pile and thus often hunted for himself on his own the senior warrior part loner still. However an experienced fighter he was an asset to the pack, he knew that and anyone who denied it were just kidding themselves. He moved to begin cleaning his back leg flicking an ear at one of Cheshiregrins crazed laughs, the young leader would earn his respect eventually it was just a matter of time the steel grey wolf having lived on his own for so long he was slowly adjusting to the idea of having someone above him in the pecking order. | |

| Nightstar gave a sharp nod at Dragonsteels response and knew that he still had a way to go to get the older wolfs respect. He would get it he knew that, it was just when in question or at least he believed that it was. "Would you be agreeable to stay in camp while I go on the sunhigh patrol or would it be more agreeable with you to lead it?" he asked the other male. He was one of the best fighters in the clan and the brown wolf could not deny that. Him giving the male the option was his way of showing respect to the wolf who chose to approach them to enter giving them another valuable clan member. Spotting Bumblerose heading out the leader flicked his ear. "Don't forget your on the sunhigh patrol Bumblerose." he called after her as she left the camp. Blackwidow had lead the dawn patrol over to Sunclan boarder and they were to hunt on their way back but he had yet to see any of them return making the young leader restless. | |

| The dark she-wolf busied herself in her work, delicately holding and placing each matching leaf in a stack accordingly. Â "Horsetail, blackberry leaves, borage leaves." Ivyshade counted these in the back of her mind, her tail flicking ever so slightly back-and-forth in a rhythmic motion. Lavender, Mallow, Poppy seeds..." "They're rather low though. I should probably..." She trailed off, marking a small 'X' next the pile of black seeds that lay on the ground. Â "Should have enough though." While doing her counting, Ivyshade glanced out the corner of her eye, watching Nightstar and Dragonsteel interact. She then turned her head, casting her Ivy colored gaze in their direction. Her ears flickered as she strained to hear their conversation, but after hearing the word 'patrol' pass their lips, the dark fay turned her head back in her duties, not very interested in warrior activities. "Watermint, Feverfew, Comfrey root..." She continued, muttering to herself. She marked a small 'X' next to another pile of herbs and turned to count some more. | |

| Blackwidow arrived back at camp to see very few clean members out and about. She tossed the frogs on the fresh kill pile. Walking over to the new leader Nightstar she gave him her report. "all clear on the Sunclan border." she said before leaving and nodding to Dragonsteel made her way to a sunny spot and laid her head down. She didn't fill like being in the warriors den. Besides knowing Nightstar he would ask her to do something else. She was so glad that the clans split. She liked being a leader but chose to give it up in order to lead a normal life she liked to say. Though she knew she wasn't the best leader she thought that Nightstar though cold was inexperienced. And she prays to starclan that the other leaders don't take advantage of that fact. She sighed once again before a look on boredom crossed her face. She missed her friends and one wolf in particular, Reddust she hadn't seen him since after she had become leader of stormclan. She wondered if his daughter was secretly looking for him. But she knew not to ask, Bramblerose already hated her and she felt no need to be reminded of that fact. She was starting to think maybe she wasn't meant to settle down and start a family. Like maybe those who loved her were going to turn out cursed. |

| In the middle of his grooming still the Steel grey warrior shot him a look, of course he didnt want to he was in the middle of grooming himself. He'd also just been out, giving a grunt in response and returned to the task of cleaning himself, finishing a little while after the leader left. Dragonsteel got up and sighed, there was really not much worth doing in these clans, his paws had the itch to wander and it was difficult to fight. He wandered to the edge of camp and stared out of it with his yellow eyes and sighed, perhaps there would be a battle at some point that'd get his blood pumping. Noticing Blackwidow had returned, the male dipped his head in greeting, he thought about it before padding over to her and lowered his haunches to the ground "Nothing interesting happen again?" he asked wondering if the black and red female was just as irked as he was about the lack of things to do. Perhaps when Cheshiregrins pups left the nursery there would be more things to do, yawning in boredom there was a part of him that suggested they make some trouble. Perhaps Killian would show up again and they could spar, he was a good practice partner, he hadn't seen any sign from any of the wolves here that they even knew how to do that. It seemed to be, eat, sleep, patrol, hunt and that was it. | |

| Nightstar gave Blackwidow his full attention when she approached him after dropping some frogs onto the fresh kill pile and he nodded his thanks at her information. The lack of problems was making the young leader on edge as he had no idea what the other clans were planning being so quiet. He decided to allow the female warrior some time to rest after her early start and taking the grey brutes silence as he would watch the camp. With a nod to Dragonsteel the brown leader padded towards the entrance. Slipping out he took a few minutes to jog around the outside of the wall they had built to ensure that no holes were in it and the covering of bumbles was still in place. With that checked to his satisfaction he put his nose to the ground and headed after Bramblerose to ask her to take over Antpaws training now her mentor had disappeared. It was well past her time to have one of her own in his mind.

| Half asleep curled around her pups, yellow eyes flicked open when Dragonsteel entered the nursery and set down some prey for her, watching him as he left she reached over and pulled it towards herself starting to eat contentedly. She'd never expected to have pups after what'd happened to her at the border, uncurling a little to stare down them her yellow eyes glittered. She'd found it difficult to be a mother and had relied on Ivyshades guidance of what to do with the small things that had been so helpless. The thought made a soft cackle escape "Uslessless helpless just like the maggoty maggot" talking to herself as usual she finished devouring the carcass and unable to stay still any longer got up and squeezed out of the nursery missing her solsies "Solsthiem solsies a maggot misses the backwards chattering of the solsie" continuing to talk to herself the thick furred white and black wolf glanced over at Dragonsteel and Blackwidow curiously. Forgetting about her pups briefly she trotted over surprisingly blanced on her three legs now and stuck her nose in her friends ear "black and red spidery one, maggoty maggot is wonderings if the spider is okay" most wolves assumed that Cheshiregrin was quite nuts and indeed she was but after the traumas of her puphood and what her mother had named her it was quite easy to see why she had no marbles left. | |

| The pup opened his eyes as his mother uncurled around him, looking at his three other siblings who were like peas in a pod the chaotic male grinned darkly showing off his sharp puppy teeth as he did so. Getting up the three moon old red and black wolf slipping out of the nest twitched his slip of a tail behind him as he peeked out of the nursery for the first time taking in the world. He could dimly see his mother at the other end of camp, her white pelt standing out amongst the other darker pelts of the wolves. Unable but to help a soft cackle which was almost like his mothers but far more sinister, stepping out into the light he lifted his head up liking the warm sun that lit up his puppy fluffy fur that would one day smooth down into a sleek adult coat. Not particularly hungry he sat down taking in the world before he opted to follow after his mother, trotting after her he grabbed her ear in his mouth and tugged on it trying to pull her over growling at his mother playfully playing roughly | |

| Silverpup had been sleeping, happily surrounded in the world of darkness, snuggling against her mother's flank. When Cheshiregrin moved, she let out a half-sleep groan of protest, the cool air striking her fur where her mother's body once was. Opening her eyes, she blinked, adjusting them to the gloom. Faded light seeped into the nursery, already dim from the shade of the Shadowclan camp. The young pup sat up, noticing a piece of moss sticking out of her puppy fur. She shook her coat, and then stumbled to the nursery entrance, her chubby little legs off balanced from her constant snoozing. Silverpup peered out, wide eyes taking in the whole of the Shadowclan camp that loomed in front of her. She stood, silently watching the comings and goings of the wolves around her. Ahead of her she saw her mother and brother, but she really didn't have an interest in what they were up to. Instead she turned to what other wolves were doing, attentive as she watched. | |

| The soft cackle made the little girl jerk awake, scrabbling back into the shadows with a loudly thudding heart she stared as the big white wolf, the smaller red, and silver wolf head to the entrance of the den. Trying not to shake, Tremblepup watched through big wide eyes before she slipped forward and huddled in the shadows near the entrance of the den feeling the anxiety flutter in her chest like a trapped bird. Taking a huge big breath she forced herself out through the entrance of the den, holding herself close to the ground and with her tail well and truly tucked underneath her the nervous puppy very slowly made her way over to the fresh kill pile. Pulling a frog out of it she curled away far from everytone else and began slowly eating the slimy thing keeping her puppy eyes down and away from everyone else hoping nobody would see her. | |

| Tricksterpup stirred when he felt a rush of cold air; opening his eyes, he realized that his mother had left the nest. He figured it was as good a time as any for he himself to get up. The little pup yawned and shook out his brown fur, smoothing down the ruffled places with a paw. It seemed that Jesterpup and Silverpup were awake, too; Jesterpup had left after their mother, while Silverpup remained by the nursery entrance. "Good morning," he said. His voice still sounded a bit drowsy, and his jaws parted in another yawn after he finished speaking. He wondered what the day would bring; hopefully they wouldn't get into too much trouble. As much as he tried to keep his siblings under control he felt as if that wasn't usually possible. He shifted his gaze onto Tremblepup as he noticed her slink first towards the fresh-kill pile and then towards the edges of the camp. He decided it would be best not to bother her; it didn't seem like Tremblepup wanted company, and he didn't want to annoy her. | |

| Silverpup glanced over as Tricksterpup approached. She liked her brother, even if he was dull at times. He was much more of a goody-goody then Silver could appreciate, but occasionally a character like that was a good thing to have around. "Good morning," chimed sweetly back to him, using her large puppy eyes as a charm. Even he was persuadable, and Silverpup was starting to bore watching the adult wolves do their chores. "Don't they get tired of doing the same thing everyday? I wish there was a battle or something to make things more lively around here." The pup did not think about the morals or consequences of war, only that it would bring about a much needed change to the area. She glanced back her mother and half-brother, grinning when she saw him try to knock Cheshiregrin over. "Dirty little rat. Now he's going to get it." She nudged Tricksterpup towards the fray, pointing with her snout. "Hehe, wanna watch the rat get his scruff chewed off?" She asked him, not liking or pitying Jesterpup in the slightest. | |

| Marauderpup's eyes sprang open at the first sign of movement from within the den. Where there had previously been a pile of warm bodies there was now absent space, indicating that despite his eagerness to spring to action, he was the last of his family to rise. Even Jesterpup had beaten him. Bouncing to his paws the troublesome pup spied the silhouettes of his siblings in the nursery den entrance and his curiosity spiked. What were those two fuzz balls looking at? Bounding across the short distance to the entrance, Marauderpup squeezed himself into the gap between Tricksterpup and Silverpup, craning his neck to get a glimpse of what they were looking at. "What's so interest-" he stopped mid-sentence as his eyes landed on the shape of Jesterpup, his jaws clamped on the ear of their mother. A grave mistake indeed. A wide grin slithered across his features in anticipation. This was going to be the best thing he'd seen all week, and he hadn't even had to do anything! Jesterpup had made that decision all by himself. The golden coated pup inched forward so that he could get a better view of the anticipated spectacle, hunching himself down so that his siblings could still see the scene clearly as they waited. He hadn't even said good morning to his siblings - this event clearly took precedence over such trivial matters. | |

| Blackwidow looked up at Dragonsteel with a bored look. " no its like it's just dead out there. No prey really moving about, no loners or rogues, borders all quiet. Its just boring you know." she stated to the dark brute. She missed the days where there seemed to never be a dull moment. Feeling something on her ear and noticing that Cheshiregrin was talking to her, she turned to face the new mother." hey Cheshiregrin, I'm just wondering where Reddust is, nobody has seen him since the splitting of the clans. I'm just a bit worried is all." she told the female. She was one of the ones who warmed up to her when she was just a pup. |

| At Silverpup's prodding, Tricksterpup shifted his gaze to where his sister was indicating. Jesterpup was now tugging on their mother's ear, which was bound to bother her. He frowned. "Er, okay," he replied to Silverpup. He wasn't really looking forward to seeing Jesterpup get told off. Jesterpup was his brother after all, even if he was a bit strange. He gave a quick glance over at Marauderpup as he pressed up next to him, before turning back to Jesterpup and Cheshiregrin. His siblings definitely seemed more interested in the scene before him than he was, but he would watch anyways. | |

| Listening curiously Cheshiregrin flicked Blackwidow one of her crazed grins "Ahh a spiders close dusty red friend yes? A maggoty maggot is certain the spiders dusty red friend will show up!" her mostly easy to understand words were barely said when she felt teeth dig into her ear. Instantly a dark gravelly snarl issued forth from her chest, very sensitive to teeth digging into her due to the first few months of her life the three legged madwoman shook her head and used a paw to dislodge the red pup from her ear. Standing over him baring her teeth she picked him up by his tail clenching her jaws, managing to stop herself from severing it from his body she dropped the pup and caught him by the scruff, throwing him around a fair bit like a rag doll before she finally got bored, left him on the ground and moved away from him. Flicking her ears she padded to the entrance of the camp staring out of it wanting her sol without a look back at the red pup she'd battered, the three legged she wolf left camp heading towards the swamp to try and find him. Solsie, solstheim where is you? A maggot will go searchies yes it will, it needs him a somewhat terrifying cheshire cat grin on her face the female padded out without a thought for the badly beaten Jesterpup.

| Season |
Leaf-Fall has finally started, with the nights gradually getting cooler. Perhaps snow is on the way, perhaps it will be late this year. Either way, the dark shadow that was over the clans seems to have finally lifted, leaving them in peace for now to stock up on rpey for the coming cold months.
This season's successful numbers are: 1, 3, and 8
