| She'd been walking in Willowmists tracks as the bigger female pushed most of the snow out of the way, Jaspercloud and Rainheart were nowhere to be seen which irked the youngster, they were so lazy all they seemed to want to do was sit around camp and wag their chins. She was keen to do the border patrol to help protect her clan and the others lack of interest clashed with her extreme loyalty and family values, they all had to work together to protect the clan there was no room in the clan for slackers. Her yellow eyes glittered with determination, she'd do her best during the patrol she'd defend her clan, stopping as they came up to the border. Stormpaw sized up the striped female, whom Willowmist addressed politely as Tigerstorm, watching as the stranger stalked over to a bush, the aggressiveness of the female surprised her. Having grown up around Heatherfrost, Willowmist and Riverstar she'd assumed that all clan wolves were as polite and well mannered as them, this display caused her to frown and reevaluate things, the agressiveness and possesiveness of the striped wolf appealed to her, she was physically showing others her loyalty and strength however Willowmist had her own kind of strength. Despite being calm and serene the older wolf was undoubtedly strong in her own way, a little confused as she was trying to figure out what way was strong the female stood strong and tall not letting any weakness show nor did she let her inner confusion show. | |

| Barkclaw slowed down his pace as he neared the border. He was somewhat annoyed by the fact that it had started to snow. The trek back to camp would be all the more unbearable. He couldn't wait until he could be back in the relative warmth of ShadowClan's sheltered camp. He tilted his head to the side when he heard Tigerstorm growl and saw her walking over towards a bush. The warrior's behavior caused him to believe that something wasn't right. Was there an intruder? He didn't scent anyone, but that didn't mean anything. Someone could easily mask their scent should they choose to. He walked over to where his Clanmate was, not paying attention to the SunClan wolves for the moment. "What's happened?" he asked, keeping his voice low. His posture was defensive, ready to leap out of the way should anything rush out of the bush. | |

| The striped female allowed her muscles to start coiling tightly as she shifted her stance to pounce. With her large mass the branches would most likely break out of her way and her thick winter pelt would shield her from the worst of the potential sharp ends that would result from her crashing in. Her launch however was postponed by the sound of pawsteps in the air approaching her side and Tigerstorm turned an ear sideways as Barkclaws voice sounded beside her. "An intruder who is so pathetic they can't show themselves because they are scared." she told him with annoyance at the rouge or loner who was hiding. "I'm feeling less and less charitable the longer it makes me wait." Venom started to edge into her tone as she snapped her jaws at the bush and the falling snow was not going to improve the burly warriors temper in the slightest. | |

| The cattle dog slowly walked up to the border, looking down at his paws as he moved forward. Each paw step had been chosen carefully; for the most part, he stepped in the tracks left by Willowmist and Stormpaw. Earlier in the patrol he'd fallen behind them and accidentally stepped into a snow drift. He had been terrified that he'd end up drowning in snow, but thankfully for him Rainheart had been there to help him up. It had taken him a few more minutes to calm down before he felt ready to move again, which was why he'd ended up showing up late.
Now, Jaspercloud could detect the strong scent of ShadowClan wolves, so he quickly glanced up. Willowmist and Stormpaw were now in sight, but so were two ShadowClan warriors. They were huge compared to him. He shuddered at the thought of ever going into battle against them—they'd tear him apart like prey. He kept his gaze fixed on the ShadowClan wolves as he continued on over to Willowmist and Stormpaw, only to end up tripping on an unseen stone and tumbling to the ground. He shook out the snow from his pelt when he stood back up, shivering. Oh, how I hate the snow. Why couldn't his sister have joined ThunderClan instead? They didn't live in the mountains, and they had the cover of the forest to shield them from the worst of the snow. He let out a soft sigh, before carefully walking the rest of the way over to the others. "Sorry... sorry I'm late," he murmured, before sending a glance back over at ShadowClan's side of the border. Those two warriors seemed to be focused on something and their postures appeared hostile. It didn't seem as if their aggression was directed at the SunClanners, but who knew? It nonetheless unnerved him.

| Rainheart padded up to the border, arriving just after Jaspercloud did. The small cattle dog had ended up having some trouble with the snow, and she was glad that she'd stayed behind the others so that she'd been able to help him. As she slowed down to a stop besides the rest of the patrol, she realized that some ShadowClan wolves were staring intently at a bush. Perhaps there was some prey in there? She couldn't smell anything herself. "Hello, Tigerstorm and Barkclaw," she greeted the ShadowClanners after recalling their names. She tilted her head, rather curious about what the two of them were doing. | |

| Her sharp green eye caught the sight of the intruder bolting from the other side of the bush and let them go with a snarl as approaching pawsteps hit her hearing making an ear flicker. Her large frame swung around as she fixed her steely gaze on the approaching pair displaying her lack of a left eye as clearly as her ivory fang tips. Settling into a stance that would allow the burly female to move from her spot quickly, she fluffed her striped pelt up as it became clear that a dog was on the patrol. "Rainheart and a pathetically small dog." she sneered baring her fangs at Jaspercloud with a growl, "I wonder if theres anyway for Sunclan to sink any lower." Anyone who knew of the female warrior knew of her traditional sense in the clan ways and she had never and would never accept a dog as a full clan member, not matter what clan it was. It disgusted Tigerstorm that the White Demon had been accepted into Shadowclan and its purity of being the only clan not to have polluted its ranks with dogs. | |

| She'd stayed back listening as everything happened, a striped warrior had bounced up and spouted out insults a little prickly that she didn't even try to show some respect to other warriors of clans. Even though Stormpaw agreed that dogs didn't belong in clans there was something called honor, stepping forward and lifting her head high the female spoke coolly "Excuse me Tigerstorm was it? You're a warrior of Shadowclan a great and noble clan, you do it dishonor by being so rude towards wolves of another clan." In short she personally thought Tigerstorm was being a bully and over the line. If you wanted to do your clan honor you followed the warrior code, flicking a slightly cold look at Jaspercloud she pointedly didn't say warriors of another clan just wolves. Dogs weren't part of the clans they were weak and pathetic cowards. Carrying herself confidently but with respect for this warrior of stripes that Willowmist had referred to as Tigerstorm, Stormpaw continued "Perhaps you could tell me more of Shadowclan? I've always wanted to learn more about it" She'd admired Dragonstar for quite some time, he was a strong leader unlike the leader of Sunclan who she wasn't that impressed with, a mother that had abandoned its pups shouldn't have been allowed back into the clan. Dragonstar seemed to be much more of a leader she could follow, and the grey apprentice was hungry for more information on him and shadowclan. | |

| Tigerstorm dragged her eye from the warriors to zone in on the apprentice when she spoke and flashed a fang at her as she drew herself up slowly from her crouch. "So sunclan can actually produce decent pups huh?" she said staring down at the grey female, "Finally something done right by you cloud dreamers." Nodding sharply to a spot a little way down the border line, but still in clear view of the two patrols, the striped female trotted over and sat down waiting for the other wolf to join her. "What do you want to know sunclanner?" she asked once she was with her. | |

| Barkclaw gave a slight nod when his Clanmate informed him of a loner's presence. He often wondered how some could be so mouse-brained as to step over a clearly marked border. Even if one wasn't aware of the Clans, surely they could tell that the place belonged to someone, right? It seemed as if they might have intimidated the loner, for it wasn't too long until they bolted away. He simply grumbled, and his attention shifted when he heard more paw steps approaching.
"Oh. Hi." His words were somewhat brusque. He didn't really care to speak with wolves, or a dog, from another Clan. He flicked his ears when Tigerstorm growled at the dog—he didn't want to start a fight with SunClan. The small dog seemed rather timid, however, so he doubted that anything would happen. His gaze flicked towards the apprentice when she began to speak. "There really isn't that much to know," he called after Tigerstorm and the SunClanner. Nosiness wasn't something he particularly cared for, but he trusted that Tigerstorm wouldn't tell her any secrets so his concern didn't really matter.

| The more Tigerstorm spoke the more she came across as nothing more than a bully who's only interest was to bring others down not act as the warrior code spoke. Deciding that she didn't want to listen to what kind of poisonous words the striped warrior wanted to say about other clans so she turned her gaze onto the patched brown wolf "Whats Dragonstar like? I Want to know more about him and how he runs the clan" explaining patiently to the warrior, okay so Tigerstorm wasn't really someone she wanted to follow but surely the rest of the clan would follow their leader's example? She wasn't afraid of having to prove herself that she could deal with, but bullying was against the warrior code in her opinion. Her bright yellow gaze was direct and unafraid watching the male whose name she did not know, able to feel Willowmist's disapproving gaze on her back and completely ignoring the other Sunclanners Stormpaws drive to find a leader to follow that she respected and was strong overwhelmed any thing else even her love and loyalty to her little brother. | |

| She'd done what she did best and listened quietly as everything unfolded growing more and more dumbfounded with everything that came out of Tigerstorms mouth. The lack of respect to one's elders and her flamboyant way of talking privately irritated the usually serene older wolf, Stormpaws interest in her wasn't that fantastic either although she seemed to realize that Tigerstorm was a bad apple and asked Barkclaw instead about Dragonstar. Things that Willowmist probably could have told her, the worry continued to build about Stormpaw she'd noticed things had been taking a toll on the young female but from the interest, it felt like Stormpaws loyalties were changing. Flicking a glance at Rainheart and Jaspercloud in a silent bid for them to help her, Willowmist nudged Stormpaw "Come we've spent too long here anyway" it was an attempt to move the border patrol on to the next border, the creamy-hued wolf who's face had more grey hairs every moon that passed held herself confidently not letting her private opinions of Tigerstorm to show her usual air in place. | |

| Rainheart had offered a smile towards the two ShadowClanners, although it wavered when Tigerstorm addressed Jaspercloud as being pathetic. Sure, he was small and rather timid, but he was still a SunClanner. Of course, Rainheart didn't want to start any trouble so she simply kept the smile on her face as she listened to everything that was happening. She was proud when Stormpaw said something about Tigerstorm being rude, failing to catch her pointed words. The apprentice seemed to be quite curious about ShadowClan, which was something Rainheart could relate to. She recalled just how interested she'd been in finding out information about ThunderClan when she'd been younger, thanks in part to her namesake and the fact that Ottersky had grown up there. When Willowmist gave her a look, she nodded slightly in response, although personally she didn't see any harm in Stormpaw finding out more about the other Clan. "Yes, we probably should get going to the next border. If we're all gone too long, Riverstar might start to worry about us. It was a pleasure to speak with you both, Tigerstorm and Barkclaw," she added. | |

| Jaspercloud lowered himself to the ground when one of the ShadowClan wolves growled at him. He further shrunk back when she called him pathetically small. She was really intimidating, and he was worried about whether or not she would attack him simply because she disliked him. He glanced back towards the others for reassurance—Stormpaw started saying something about respect, but afterwards shot him a somewhat cold look. He'd noticed how she'd only said 'wolves' rather than warriors. Did his own Clanmates hate him being in the Clan? His ears flattened back against his head. He wanted nothing more than to be somewhere else right now, somewhere where he didn't have to worry about everything. When he caught Willowmist's look, he inwardly let out a sigh of relief. Finally. He didn't want to waste another moment at this border. "Yeah. Let's... uh, let's go." | |

| Barkclaw flicked his ears when the apprentice started speaking to him instead. He let out a sigh. Choosing his words carefully, he started to answer her question. "Well, Dragonstar is generally calm and reasonable. He is just and cares a lot about his Clanmates, and is a formidable warrior." He was perhaps one of, if not the most, skilled fighters ShadowClan had. "Is that all you wanted to know?" A part of him hoped that she'd say yes. He was reluctant to give out so much information to outsiders. He didn't know if the young apprentice was just curious or if she was asking questions for some other purpose. | |

| Walking up and with every intention to berate Tigerstorm and Barkclaw for taking so long, Dragonstar checked his response when he realized a Sunclan patrol was at the border too. The wind blew towards him alerting him to who it was Willowmist, Jaspercloud, and Rainheart as well as an apprentice sitting down in front of Barkclaw he'd never met before. Slipping up behind Barkclaw in time to hear the warriors words "Giving out interviews are we Barkclaw?" His tone was mild and polite, quite careful to show a united front before another clan. It seemed that the young female with striking yellow eyes, wondering what on earth was going on as most wolves didn't care or show any interest in who other leaders were. When Blackwidow arrived he murmured to Barkclaw "Finish the Patrol with Tigerstorm and don't let her dither, prey needs to be caught and eyes open for those wolves" making sure the Sunclan wolves and dog couldn't hear them when he spoke to the brown warrior. Dragonstars attention was caught by the dog that was trembling. It clearly didn't have a warriors heart and so he couldn't help but wonder why on earth it'd joined a clan, it was a weakling and it wasn't because it was a dog he knew plenty of strong dogs. No in its mind, it had no courage, he and Blackwidow would sort out whatever was going on here. | |

| Blackwidow arrived in time to hear what Barkclaw had said to a sunclan apprentice by the looks of it, and had to hold back her snort. Dragonstar was more that just a formidable warrior but she did silently praise him in her head that he wasn't out her running his mouth off about Dragonstar's skills. The large red and black female came and sat next to Dragonstar and gave a hello to the two warriors before they left to continue their border patrol. "Barkclaw, Tigerstorm." Then Blackwidow turned her eyes to the sunclan patrol that was made up of Willowmist, Rainheart, Jaspercloud and some apprentice that she didn't know but she did dip her head in greeting opting to stay quiet for now until she knew how Dragonstar wanted to handle things. She looked as relaxed as ever, but to those that knew her like her clanmates she was alert and ready to attack at a moments notice if need be. | |

| Flicking a strong glare at Willowmist when she interrupted, it was all stormpaw could do to not snort at the dogs' whimper of agreement. He didn't belong in Sunclan he was a pathetic whelp a milk drinker that wouldn't be of any use to the clan in an actual fight, the first killed or the first to run away it had been a mistake to let him join. However Barkclaw's words made her eyes shine with excitement, he sounded like such a good strong leader that was respected and actually capable of leading the clan through troubling times. Perhaps partially blaming Riverstar misguidedly for what happened with her mother, two more Shadowclan warriors appeared and one with his obvious scar on his chest was quite clearly Dragonstar formerly Dragonsteel. Bouncing back up onto her paws with a wagging tail and a clear look of admiration in her gaze Stormpaw felt quite strongly that this was the type of leader that she should follow. "I am Stormpaw, please I want to know more about Shadowclan. I want to learn about the Honor and traditions of a clan that is lead by a powerful and just leader" quite clearly passionate and honest about her feelings the grey apprentice's yellow eyes shone with excitement and hope that she might get to learn more despite what Willowmist thought. | |

| Blackwidow chuckled a bit at the enthusiastic reaction to Dragonstar and how happy she looked to see him. Turning to Dragonstar she whispered "I think you have a fan." Then turning to Stormpaw she greeted the apprentice. "Hello Stormpaw, my name is Blackwidow. In shadowclan we have many traditions and much honor, but it seems like you are looking for something in particular. Why do you want to know so much about shadowclan, are you looking to join us or are you just trying to satisfy your curiosity of our leader and shadowclan?" Blackwidow didn't talk down to her or anything as she didnt believe in that but she also wasn't going to treat Stormpaw as an enemy. Shadowclan could always use more strong clanmates, that would fight and defend the clan and its members to the death if need be. | |

| Standing there at attention Stormpaw dipped her head in respect to the warrior, liking to hear that the traditions and honor she'd learned about as a pup were actually real. The question directed at her made Stormpaw blinked and considered it carefully before admitting out loud for the first time "I want to join Shadowclan, I want a strong leader who's a fearless fighter and has honor and tradition as well as a clan with history of traditions and honor as well as having the guts to do what you must to survive even when its considered wrong. A clan with history not a new one like Sunclan is" realizing she'd given a speech when she'd only been asked one question, the yellow eyes glanced down to the bland earth beneath her paws. "I want a place where I'm not pitied, I just want to serve a clan that values me for me, where I can fight, hunt and protect to the best of my ability. With a leader, I can respect. that doesn't allow wolves that abandoned their pups back into the clan" her eye contact had flicked back up to Blackwidows as she spoke, yellow eyes flicking to the large grey wolf and widening as she recognized the distinctive scar on his chest. Dragonstar, he was actually here and he'd heard her! unsure of what was going to happen to her, she took a deep breath reminding herself she wasn't a milk drinker like Specklefrost was. | |

| Dragonstar had kept back, listening quietly to what Stormpaw, as she introduced herself, had to say growing all the more interested in what was going on. He didn't fail to miss the looks on the other wolves and dogs faces, it sounded like she was making a genuine bid to join Shadowclan. It also sounded like for genuine reasons too, he didn't mind the idea of accepting her into his clan but he knew with the kind of wolves in his clan they wouldn't accept a newcomer who'd betrayed their own clan to join Shadowclan. Someone who'd skipped clans once could do it again, after all, musing over it he finally spoke after Stormpaw recognized him. "It won't be easy, wolves will not trust you and will jeer at you, you would have to earn their respect through hard work" she seemed hard working so far from what she'd said however first appearances could be deceiving. Internally he'd already figured out who he'd pick for her mentor if she did join the clan, it would be hard on the pair of them but if they worked well together they'd both prove themselves to the clan. | |

| Season |
Leaf-Fall has finally started, with the nights gradually getting cooler. Perhaps snow is on the way, perhaps it will be late this year. Either way, the dark shadow that was over the clans seems to have finally lifted, leaving them in peace for now to stock up on rpey for the coming cold months.
This season's successful numbers are: 1, 3, and 8
