RiverClan Camp

The furthermost camp away from the gathering place, the RiverClan camp is on an island in the middle of a small shallow lake. Littered with rocks, most of the dens have been dug out of the earth and are situated beneath trees as the roots keep the dens together better. The leader's den is situated in an old hollow tree; when speaking to the Clan, the leader stands on an old round rock. During new-leaf the island is prone to flooding; when this happens the rocks littered around become safe zones for those who cannot yet swim.

The dark pup flicked his tail in disgust as his bright coloured goody-two-shoes sister dashed out of the nursery and did her usual sucking up routine before dashing over to be nice to moonbreeze. Smirking a little as Moonbreeze ignored Glitterpup it held the dark pups attention for a while longer before he lost interest. Standing up and yawning softly he cast a brief glance up at the sun, not really seeing why everyone was worried about it, turning about on his dark paws the mostly silent wolf decided that with everyone distracted he'd go for a wander. He quite enjoyed wandering all over the place, and had made several trips out of camp before without being noticed, it was one of his specialties, most wolves didn't even know whom he was. Those that did thought he was mute, which suited him fine, he didn't have to speak if everyone thought he couldn't, besides he always had Glitterpup to count on to drag all possible spotlight to herself. It'd always been that way, she'd shined in the spotlight and drawn it all to herself while he was left in the shadows on his own, he liked it that way. He considered where abouts he should go an din the end decided that he'd go and visit the border with windclan, it was a nice walk there and it'd keep him quite busy. Slipping through the shadows he paused, well hidden to take one final look around and froze, very patiently he waited until it was the perfect time to leave. Slipping out of the camp, the silent creature turned his paws to his favourite walking track, and along that track even then he was quiet listening to the sounds of nature around him and finding it far more soothing than the clamor of camp. The strange little fellow took his time, after all he had all afternoon before he would be noticed missing, even then he doubted his clan would. He was never noticed, never missed, he might as well have been a ghost watching the world, not that it bothered him no, he welcomed it, and welcomed the solitude.

All of a sudden the game had stopped and his siblings had darted towards their mother at her pained howl, getting up he slowly followed them tripping over a few things as per usual. He hadn't noticed the sudden darkness as to his eyes everything looked the same, as it usually did, blue and confusing. Hovering in the entrance to the Elders den he noticed his father, he looked different from normal, the usual blue that he was, was no more now he was a dark dark blue almost black. From this the pup gathered that his father had died, not quite sure how he fell about the whole situation the quirky little fellow backed out rather quickly with his ears flicked back. The blue boy turned about and stared out with his deep blue eyes, one day they'd lighten into the same gold his father had had, deciding he'd find somewhere to sit and think through all of this he wandered away from the elders den the concept of death was extremely hard for him to figure out. Already it was if his father had just been a dream, and had never really existed, he half noticed Hollowpup get jumped on by his sister a little preoccupied with his own thoughts. Iceflood had said his father was in starclan now, and he felt himself doubting that a little, would a wolf that had died and then a calamity occurred right after his death even be accepted into Starclan? He wasn't really that sure, weaving his way through the legs that seemed to make up every day the pup frowned to himself, it wasn't even that starclan existed! There was a logical reason for the sun to be blocked out he just had to figure out what it was! So he latched onto the idea of figuring it out instead of thinking about his fathers demise.

Listening Carefully Stormblade thought it over, they might need another helping hand to take to the river and glancing about he noticed that Ripplesplash wasn't particularly doing anything that moment. He was quite certain that she'd be happy to help and so he called out to her "Hey Ripplesplash You're on this patrol too, Heading out to Perches flow to rescue the fish" He flicked Follyfoot and Ted a look "Head on out now theres not a moment to loose" the hairy dog glanced about the camp quietly, they need to do some hunting patrols as well. From Moonbreezes howl she'd not be much use for hunting at this very moment and so he glanced about and very soon realized that the only other wolves available to hunt at this time was himself and Greystar. Taking a long breath he glanced about the various pups that tottered about the clan, they really needed more warriors. The warrior considered it then decided that they still had the lake to hunt from if they needed to, the water level in the lake had dropped but was still a good couple of feet deep, enough to put fish into. His brain was buzzing with the amount of stress that was going on in his brain, he couldn't wait until Greystar picked a deputy and he didn't have to worry about all of this anymore.

He smiled all over his muzzle when he was spoken too so jovially, his long black tail not stopping its long slow wag, everything she was saying like about the clan being like a nice family and that they’d been happy to let her stay. When she admitted that she’d been abandoned his brown eyes widened and he glanced about before he murmured softly “me too” after that she explained that the names helped them all know what rank they were which made sense he supposed. Although it seemed a little confusing to have your name changed all the time, but he was sure he’d get used to it in time. Wondering what she was thinking as the pretty brown retriever sat there wagging her tail slightly in the dusty earth. She spotted Iceflood which was apparently the name of the white wolf with blue eyes that looked like gems he’d seen on a ring before. Following Follyfoot over to where Iceflood was he decided that he’d stick close to her, she was nice and was something he could understand. However it was the other dog, Stormblade who took charge, asking another warrior to come over and go on the patrol with them. It wasn’t long after that that the dog asked for them to leave, Ted had no idea where he was going and so he decided that he’d let Follyfoot and the other warrior who Stormblade had named Ripplesplash to lead the way. Once they were on their way, the black curly dog trotted after them, his stainless steel collar making a slight noise as he trotted along, he seemed quite happy and settled in already although it was in his nature to take things in his stride and not get too worried over things.

Moonbreeze twisted her head to lick Oceanpups head as she nuzzled her leg in comfort. A few words broke through her haze in the loud voice that came from Glitterpup. Though all she heard was 'sorry', 'help' and 'know' so she could only guess she was offering her help if she needed it. "Thank you Glitterpup." she mummered before taking a couple of steps and giving Frozenpup a lick between his ears just once. "Go back to your game little ones." she told them softly lifting her head with dull eyes to watch the others leave the camp. It was then that she noticed the darkness and frown before padding over to Stormblade slowly. "Whats going on Stormblade?" she asked her friend softly.

Quite excited to be going and playing in mud, well okay maybe playing was the wrong word, but mud meant water even if there wasn't much there. Sticking quite close to Follyfoot as he liked her and felt that he could relate to her quite well the rather naive pups thoughts drifted to his mistress. He'd tried to keep her safe, he'd given her kisses over her bruises and had curled with her during the day to keep her safe. Remembering her kind blue eyes, rosy cheeks and dark black hair his tail lowered, how would she fare now without him there to protect her? He still believed biting her husband had been the best thing to do, it'd shifted the attention off of her onto himself, he often ached in the cold thanks to the beating. It hadn't been much longer after that she'd left him on the prairie, I miss her so much, she made the best cookies and food still he couldn't exactly tell anyone about any of this so he kept quiet listening as the adults decided what they'd do. A little unsure of Ripplesplash not knowing if she liked him or not, the gentle boy happily trotted after Follyfoot staying rather close to her as he had no idea where he was going, his thoughts however still remaining on the beautiful girl he'd kept company for most of his life.

~Perch's Flow~

Oceanpup licked Lunapups ears as Moonbreeze left the elders den slowly. "Maybe we should go back to playing Mossball?" she said as a suggestion however her tone indicated she didn't really feel up to it. Instead she pressed closer to her little sister and gently groomed her fur taking comfort in comforting her. "It will be ok. We shall see him again when we go to starclan." she mummered to the smaller fae as she watched her brothers. Frozenpup seemed to be thinking about something but Pantherpup had the look on his face that spelt trouble.

Pantherpup frowned when Iceflood told him he couldn't go and get his father back from Starclan but he had made his mind up. He knew he had to cross the river however. His ears had picked up the fact that Perches Flow was all dried up and the small male grinned having found his way over to go hunting for a way to starclan. Standing he missed Oceanpups eyes on his form as he snuck out of camp. He was going to make Moonbreeze happy again and bring Forsakensoul back to her. However what the black and white pup didn't expect was what was going to happen to him next.

~Perch's Flow~

Her face brightened up when finally Moonbreeze noticed her, dipping her head she trotted out of the den with her muzzle stuck high in the air, spotting Hollowpup she smiled and padded over to him flashing Bubblepup a nice look. Quite fond of Hollowpup as he was perfect just like her and oh so handsome, the pup wagged her tail neatly and swiped her tongue over her muzzle. "hey Hollowpup" she greeted him before greeting Bubblepup the same "Hello Bubblepup" although she was actually here to spend some time with the wolf that would become her mate she was so certain of this even though he had no idea. Their pups would be beautiful and she already had the names picked out for them. Emeraldpup, Diamondpup, Sapphirepup, Rubypup, Topazpup the list went on all of her ideas having to do with gems, sitting down neatly on the slightly damp earth she flashed one of her gorgeous smiles at Hollowpup. It wasn't much longer before they'd be made apprentices, and although she'd miss her days of doing nothing it'd be good to show off to the clan just how good and nice she was, she wasn't Glitter the good for nothing and she was very proud of her nickname. Sweeping her tail around herself the silver and dark blue pup noticed her brother still wasn't back yet, she'd tell on him soon enough and get him into trouble! Giggling to herself softly at the thought, she glanced over at greystar a little slyly. Noticing that Moonbreezes pups were trotting rather solemnly out of the den she flashed them one of her warm smiles in an attempt to comfort them, she knew what it was like to loose a father, her and Silentpups father had gone missing a few months back and she had no idea what had happened to their mother. She'd be good and offer them some comfort, perhaps they'd like to play a game to try and distract themselves? She gestured at Oceanpup and Lunapup "would you like to play a game to keep busy?" she asked softly her features becoming concerned, still mostly concerned with how good she was.
